Learn More About The Schools for Strong MInds Program

Measure what matters. Build schools where students thrive.

The Schools for Strong Minds program helps schools move beyond reacting to mental health challenges and toward preventing them. Using the scientifically validated Mind Health Quotient (MHQ) alongside guidance from the Schools for Strong Minds team, school leaders gain a clear understanding of the factors shaping student mind health and the tools to make meaningful, evidence-based improvements.

Participating schools receive actionable insights, strategic support, and access to a growing community of leaders committed to creating healthier learning environments where students can flourish.

Take the MHQ

The MHQ is a scientifically validated assessment developed by Sapien Labs that measures mind health across emotional, cognitive, and social functioning. Unlike traditional mental health screeners that focus primarily on symptoms or diagnoses, the MHQ provides a holistic picture of how people are functioning and identifies the everyday factors that influence their wellbeing.

With data from more than two million participants across 70+ countries, the MHQ powers one of the world’s largest studies of mind health and provides schools with meaningful, actionable insights that support prevention—not just intervention.

Coming Soon: The Strong Minds Network

The Strong Minds Network is a new community from Sapien Labs for educators, parents, and youth advocates who believe adolescent mental health begins long before a crisis. Members will gain access to the latest research, practical resources, expert conversations, and a community of people working together to build environments where young people can thrive.

Share your email address to be the first to hear when the network launches.
